The EXCELSIOR slab brick blocks have a width of 40 cm and allow, (with a rib width of 10 cm), to create a floor spacing of 50 cm.
EXCELSIOR blocks have an exclusive lightening function and, as there is no Harmonized European Standard for them, fall under case B of art. 11.1 of the NTC/2018 and related  Application Circular.
Consequently, they fully comply with the requirements of par. C4.1.9. of the Circular itself. In particular:
1) the blocks are shaped so that in the floor in place the transmission of the forces from one is continuously censure to the other element;
2) the ratio between the overall area of ​​the holes and the great area delimited by their perimeter is compliant;
