The solution of rectified POROTON eco PLAN MVI-R blocks represents a further positive innovation of the brick, thanks to the flattening and parallelism of the faces. This highly innovative solution, (which reduces the thickness of the horizontal mortar joint to 2 mm), added to the thin partitions, the high number of rows of chambers in opposition to the thermal flow and the lateral multi-joints increases the thermo-hygrometric performance of the masonry making it possible to insulate even in “zone F” without adding other insulating layers (coating) or filling the holes.

For the certification of the Fire Resistance Class of brick walls, the New Code of Fire Prevention provides the use of laboratory tests as wellas specific tables included in the Ministerial Decrees 16/02/2007- Attached “D”, the Ministerial Circular Int. N.1968 del 15/02/2008 and subsequent modifications and additions.
